God-Des and She Release New Album

Out lesbian musicians God-Des and She released a brand new album yesterday titled, “Stand Up” and from what I hear – I like it.

God-Des And She are on a mission to debunk the urban myth that white girls ain’t got game. Their latest effort is the self-released sophomore album, Stand Up, which came out June 17 through Goldenrod, and will see the official digital release through the Orchard, starting July 1. The track “Lick It” has gained exposure by being performed on Showtime’s The L Word.

God-Des And She will tour the US and European pride circuit throughout the summer, making a stop June 25 at New York’s The Knitting Factory to celebrate the album’s release.

Formed in Wisconsin, the pair moved to Brooklyn in 2004 and have since shared bills with veterans Spinderella, MC Lyte, and rapper/producer Immortal Technique.
