Sarah Palin Claims Being Gay is a “Choice”
October 2, 2008 by Bryan
From WSJ Marketwatch.com:
Jon Hoadly, the Executive Director of The National Stonewall Democrats has issued the following statement in response to Governor Sarah Palin’s statement that sexual orientation is a choice:
“John McCain chose a poor running mate, but he did not choose his sexual orientation. This is another example of why we need a pro-equality President like Barack Obama in the White House. For Governor Palin to suggest that individuals randomly choose their sexual orientation based on nothing but a whim is wrong and it repeats the talking points of the anti-gay special interests which continue to control the McCain/Palin campaign and the Republican Party.”
Governor Palin asserted that sexual orientation is a choice - a fact disputed by the majority of the scientific community - in a response to a question posed by Katie Couric of CBS News. Couric asked Palin to comment on her views regarding sexual orientation in light of revelations that Governor Palin’s church continues to promote harmful “conversion therapy” for gay Americans.
Oh but wait — she “has gay friends” as she says.

I wonder if her gay friends are Log Cabin members. That would be really sad.
I’d like to ask this question to anyone who claims that gays have chosen their sexual orientation: Please describe for me the exact date & circumstances when you consciously decided to select heterosexuality over homosexuality?
If some people have choosen to be gay, the rest of us must choosen to be straight. Who could forget this important day of choice. Honestly, I can’t ever remember being faced with this choice.
Well we all know Sarah Palin is mentally defunct. Then again we can’t use science against her because she probably believes that science is against god. I mean who could believe the evidence backing up scientific theories when the bible clearly states how events happened. I mean the bible says god did it so therefore science is against god right? (I hope you know that that statement is sarcasm) LOL anyway did anyone hear that she also doesn’t understand the value of the fruit fly genetic research… the very research that in 1933 showed us that traits are passed by chromosomes? I think we should vote sarah palin and jcain into office and while we’re at it why don’t we go back to the middle ages and have another inquisition and abolish protestantism
Okay, I’m gay and i never really made this “choice” I just was. i mean yeah i chose to “come out” with it. sarah palins a bitch anyway.
shes already got rid of financial benifits for gays in alaska, where i was going to move to!
VOTE NO ON PROP 8!!!
