Schwarzenegger Hopes CA Supreme Court Overturns Prop 8
November 10, 2008 by Bryan
After pledging to do everything he could do help defeat Prop 8, it sure seemed that Gov. Schwarzenegger was missing in action.
Speaking on CNN Sunday, the governor called passage of the constitutional amendment “unfortunate… but it’s not the end.”
“I think that we will again maybe undo that, if the court is willing to do that, and then move forward from there and again lead in that area,” Schwarzenegger said.
The governor spoke out against the amendment during the campaign. In April, at the national convention of the Log Cabin Republicans, the nation’s largest gay Republican group, in San Diego, he said for the first time he opposed the measure, but predicted it would not get voter approval.

Nice of him to speak out against Prop. 8, but why in the world did he veto the legislation when it came up from the legislature? If he agrees that same-sex couples shouldn’t be denied the right to marry, why would he veto it? He can’t say it was because the people didn’t want it to be, because now the people have said they don’t want it to be, yet all of a sudden he supports us? I don’t get it…
The people of California voted and the majority approved the ban. If California was to overturn the people’s vote, what type of message would that send about our system of democracy? What type of message is the gay special interest sending when they call everyone with a differing opinion hateful and etc?

When you knowingly vote to strip the rights of thousands upon thousands of California families, I’d say that’s pretty hateful.
What would you do if the majority of those in your state voted to strip you of your right to marry your wife? Therefore stripping away the very rights to things like hospital visitation, automatic inheritance rights — just to name two of the hundreds and hundreds of rights, benefits and responsibilities afford via marriage at the state level.
Would you sit back silently and do nothing? Just tell yourself that the “majority” don’t want you to have those basic human rights?
I don’t care nothing about my comment being deleted because of hateful remarks. Gets some brains you idiots don’t even know about true Philosophy. You probably think its alright to marry a dog. You idiots
Tales of the glory. What is a tale? Oh, you probably don’t know. First of all, you don’t even know a man from a woman. Or what their purpose is. You idiots.

You “don’t care nothing”. And philosophy? Try proper English first.
