    About Us

Since March 2005 we've been bringing news regarding the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community. At times we've been known as being a bit controversial and sometimes it even gets us in hot water namely with anti-gay lobbyists and legislators, but mainly we're known as a great source of news for the GLBT community. We're especially proud to be Oregon's number one source of independent GLBT news. Soon we'll be launching Keep Portland Queer, a Portland-centric blog featuring news, arts and opinion from some well known voices in the Portland-metro. Contributors: Bryan Boyd, Editor Bryan BoydBryan comes from a background of interactive design and creative communications. After working in advertising for a number of years, he went into the non-profit sector and worked at Basic Rights Oregon on their communications team. While at Basic Rights Oregon he launched public education campaigns, and did media relations during an intensive legislative and litigation agenda -- and was proud to be a part of the biggest pro-equality wins in Oregon's GLBT rights history. Bryan now is back in the world of advertising at a local agency, he has also started Urban Humanity, a clothing line based in Portland, Oregon.
