A state senator isn’t backing down, even as Senate GOP leaders announce his punishment. In a statement posted online, Utah state Sen. Chris Buttars, R-West Jordan, says he disagrees with the censure, but he’s a “grown man who can take his knocks.” Senate President Michael Waddoups knocked him clean off the senate judiciary committee. 11 Seattle Gay Bars Threatened With Ricin Poisoning Via Letter

Seattle SkylineEleven gay bars in Seattle received letters today addressed to the “Owner/Manager” from someone claiming to be in the possession of ricin, a deadly poison. “Your establishment has been targeted,” the letter begins. “I have in my possession approximately 67 grams of ricin with which I will indiscriminately target at least five of your clients.”

Anti-Gay Focus on the Family Lays Off More Employees
